Welcome to Reepham preschool. Below you’ll find an introduction from each member of the team.
Hello, Reepham preschool was re-established in 2004 I then was employed as the deputy manager. Over the years I have seen the preschool go from strength to strength and become a reputable childcare provider within the local community.
I have been employed as the manager of Reepham preschool since 2009. During this time, I have supported the small team through Ofsted inspections, changes to the curriculum, statutory requirements and I am constantly encouraging the team to reflect on their current practice to help develop the preschool further.
The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting new parents and their children and successfully supporting/reassuring them through their child’s journey through preschool to encourage their children to be confident, independent learners ready for school /reception class.
I am a mum to two children who are now 19 and 17 and have previous childcare experience working as a childminder whilst my children were small.
My most recent qualification is CACHE Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services which I completed in March 2015.
Hello my name is Yvonne Jones and I am deputy supervisor and key person for the Spider group. I have worked in preschools since November 2006 and have been at Reepham preschool since 2013. I have a certificate in early years’ practice NVQ4 which I obtained through the open university. I have three children of my own and really enjoy working with young children.
Hi, I’m Mrs Jenny Graves, key person for the Caterpillar group. I have been working at Reepham preschool since December 2014 and have loved every minute. I have a BTEC National Diploma Level 3 in Early Years and have previous experience in nurseries and schools, including working as a nursery nurse in the French Alps. I have 2 young children who have both attended Reepham preschool and are now at the primary school across the road. I feel extremely privileged to be in my role as key person, building relationships with my key children and their families, supporting them on their new adventures and discoveries at preschool and helping to prepare them for their next step to ‘big school’.
