About Us

Our Aims

At Reepham Pre-School we are ambitious for the children that are in our care. We aim to create

a nurturing, caring and stimulating environment in which all our children can begin their

journey into education with enthusiasm and confidence.

We seek to:

  • Create a sanctuary where children feel safe and secure.
  • Provide unique opportunities that enable the children to reach their full potential through interest-led learning through play.
  • Encourage positive relationships between home and pre-school by valuing individual needs and promoting an inclusive environment.
  • Enable effective transitions in order to establish a happy start to school life.

our curriculum

At Reepham Pre-school, we follow the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation

Stage (EYFS) which sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from

birth to five.

We aim to provide a range of interesting and exciting opportunities and resources for the

children to experience and explore. Our curriculum comprises of these varied experiences,

along with everything we want the children to learn whilst in our care, such as self-care skills

and social skills. We strive to encourage kindness, compassion and independence in our

children and to give them an understanding of the world around them, as well as understanding

that everyone is different and to embrace these differences. We aim to promote the children’s

well-being and introduce them to strategies to be able to manage their own emotions.

At Reepham Pre-school, the children are encouraged to explore the outdoors in all weathers,

with the varied weather conditions creating rich learning opportunities for the children.

Outdoors is the ideal environment to develop gross motor skills through play and exploration,

as well as providing opportunities for the children to identify and manage risks, which is a vital

life-skill.

our groups

Each child will be assigned a key person when joining preschool and will be part of either the Butterfly, Caterpillar or Spider group. The key person is your first point of contact and will be there to answer any questions and put your mind at ease if you have any worries, however, all members of staff will support your child, working together to ensure the wellbeing of all children.
